The EBAA is a non-profit organisation open to all with an interest in earth building. Our aim is to foster and promote the use of Earth Building in Australia and worldwide.

Earth Building is the practice of building using unfired earth material. Earth has been used to construct walls, floors, roofs and even furniture. It is a building method with an 11,000-year-old history and tradition, which is utilised worldwide. Today it is estimated that between 1/3 to 1/2 of the world's population are housed in earth homes. The methods and techniques are as varied as the people of the earth, the resources available to them and the climates in which they are used.
